For the grieving parent

For the grieving parent

If you are a grieving parent—whether you have lost a child to Sudden Youthful Death or know a parent who is grieving—we want you to know that you are not alone.

After losing her son, Ms. Myrto Pispini started a support group for grieving parents that is open to everyone. It doesn’t matter how your child died—you don’t even have to say anything if you don’t want to. All that matters is that you feel like coming.

For more information and to participate:

All groups are completely free and there are no obligations.

You can come once, say whatever you want if you want to, come back or not, and come whenever you want if you want to.

The group might not fully meet your needs, but you might meet another mom or dad there who you get along with better, and that way you’ll gain one more person in your support network.

This is invaluable, because if there’s one thing that keeps us alive, it’s our support network.

Also, on this page you'll find a series of episodes we filmed under the title “What Nobody Talks About” where we talk about what happens to each of us after the point of no return, after the death of our child.

We may have gone through the same thing—the loss of a child—but each of us experiences it in a different way.

And that's okay.

We're waiting for you, no matter what has happened to you.

"Grieving Parents Group."
